Ald. Walter Burnett Jr. (27th) will likely approve plans for a new 11-story office building in Fulton Market, he said after a community meeting Wednesday. Fulton Market-based Shapack Partners presented plans Wednesday to erect the office building, which will be 11 stories plus a penthouse, on a vacant lot at 213-223 N. Peoria St. Retail space would be on the ground floor and about 56 parking spaces would be in the building, developer Jeffrey Shapack said. A green roof and rooftop patio is also planned.
