Ballast Point Tasting Room & Kitchen is coming to the West Loop. The brewery is opening soon on Green Street in a 12,000-square-foot space in a restored building. The restaurant plans to brew tiny-batch beers specifically to pair with the food. Core staples from the brand's West Coast roots, like baja-style fried fish tacos and a house-made Bavarian pretzel with beer mustard, will share the menu with Chicago-exclusive items like habanero Sculpin IPA bratwurst featuring Sculpin IPA beer cheese and beer mustard on a hoagie bun. Ballast will offer daily lunch and dinner service and plans to expand to brunch on a fourth-floor terrace. Read More....
