A venture of Chicago-based Leslie Hindman Auctioneers paid $1.5 million for a fully leased three-story building at 1332 W. Lake St. and an adjacent 12-space parking lot at 212 N. Ada St., property records show. The Hindman venture acquired the properties from an affiliate of local investor John Kozuch, seven years after another Kozuch affiliate paid $650,000 for the building and lot, according to the records. Ms. Hindman, founder of her namesake auction house, and Mr. Kozuch could not be reached. Tenants at 1332 W. Lake include information technology firm Adivi Corp. and florist Virginia Wolff Inc., according to real estate data provider CoStar Group Inc. Scott Maesel, executive managing director in the Chicago office of Sperry Van Ness LLC, brokered the sale. Read More...
