Pizzuti to convert old warehouse in Chicago’s West Loop district into offices

Pizzuti Cos. has expanded its interest in Chicago’s West Loop. The Columbus developer has joined Chicago-based real estate investment firm Middleton Partners in the $7.5 million acquisition of an 84,000-square-foot industrial property. Pizzuti Cos. President Joel Pizzuti told me the former manufacturing and warehouse property at 1033 W. Van Buren St. is less than a mile from Google offices at 1000 W. Fulton St. in the West Loop neighborhood.
