Hyatt confirms it will move HQ in 2017

Hyatt Hotels said today that it will move its headquarters to a 53-story office tower under construction along the Chicago River in the West Loop. The announcement confirmed a Crain's report in November that the Chicago-based hotel chain planned to move to the 1.2 million-square-foot tower at 150 N. Riverside Plaza. The company is currently based at the Hyatt Center, 71 S. Wacker Drive. With the long-term lease for about 250,000 square feet, Hyatt will begin moving about 1,000 employees from two other buildings—the headquarters and 200 W. Monroe St.—by the end of 2017, Hyatt spokeswoman Danielle Tullier said. Read More...
