Hyatt Hotels said today that it will move its headquarters to a 53-story office tower under construction along the Chicago River in the West Loop. The announcement confirmed a Crain's report in November that the Chicago-based hotel chain planned to move to the 1.2 million-square-foot tower at 150 N. Riverside Plaza. The company is currently based at the Hyatt Center, 71 S. Wacker Drive. With the long-term lease for about 250,000 square feet, Hyatt will begin moving about 1,000 employees from two other buildings—the headquarters and 200 W.
