London firm to move office to Fulton Market area

The Mill, a London-based visual effects and design firm, is moving its Chicago office to the Fulton Market area from River North, a company spokeswoman said. The firm is moving into 22,000 square feet in an empty four-story building at 310 N. Peoria St. owned by Chicago-based D2 Realty Services. “Our studio's been really well received. Effectively we've just outgrown it,” the spokeswoman said of the Mill's current space at 54 W. Hubbard St. D2 Principal David Crawford declined to discuss lease terms but said “it's significant that a tenant is going to come into this market and take a whole building.” Brokers Scott Maesel, Chad Schroedl and Drew Dillon of Sperry Van Ness represented the Mill in the lease.
