Chicago loft investor Urban Innovations sold a pair of Greektown office buildings for $29.9 million, more than double its 2013 purchase price, amid a westward shift by tenants. A venture of Crayton Advisors paid $29.9 million June 15 for the buildings at 833 W. Jackson Blvd. and 322 S. Green St., said Crayton Managing Partner John Abell. It is part of a move by Crayton, which has offices in Chicago and Naples, Fla., to assemble about $200 million worth of office and apartment buildings in the West Loop, Central Loop and South Loop under a new brand, Abell said.
