Minneapolis lobster joint rolls into Fulton Market

Google's new office building in Chicago will have surf and turf, now that the lobster-centric Minneapolis restaurant Smack Shack has signed on to open its second outpost at 1KFulton, as the building is called. The seafood restaurant, in a joint venture with Chicago-based Four Corners Tavern Group, has leased about 9,000 square feet in the building at 1000 W. Fulton Market, the partners confirmed. The 10-story former Fulton Market Cold Storage building, where Google will move late this year, is being redeveloped by Chicago-based developer Sterling Bay.
