Fulton Market's latest addition: apparel shops

The West Loop—a magnet for foodies, loft dwellers and, more recently, techies—is getting set to attract a new crowd: luxury apparel shoppers. Three high-end retailers have opened shops in the neighborhood in the last several weeks, and their success could lure others to cross the expressway to nestle among Girl & the Goat, Soho House and Google. The latest to move in is Maria Pinto. The Chicago designer known for outfitting Michelle Obama set up a studio this month on Washington Street for her M2057 line of separates aimed at chic, career-minded women. Read More...
