Developer plans Clybourn Corridor, Fulton Market projects

One of the developers behind the Soho House hotel is working on another deal in the Fulton Market neighborhood and one just off Clybourn Avenue. Shapack Development paid $10.6 million early last month for a four-story, 90,000-square-foot industrial building in the Clybourn Corridor, according to Cook County property records. The firm plans to convert the structure, at 2065 N. Southport Ave., to loft offices, said founder and President Jeff Shapack said.
