Long Planned West Loop Proposal Returns With Hotel Rooms

An old proposal to build new residences along Randolph Street in the West Loop has officially returned, this time with developer Related Midwest behind the steering wheel. Initially presented just over two years ago, developer Jesse Levine had teamed up with SMDP Studio to propose a forward-thinking 31-story apartment tower with an intricate automated valet parking system. However,Related Midwest is now in charge of the plan and has tapped Handel Architects for the job. Related Midwest most recently collaborated with Handel on redesigning and completing the stalled out Waterview Tower project at 111 W. Wacker which opened last summer as OneEleven. Read More...
