One of the developers that brought the first hotel to Chicago's Fulton Market district is planning a larger one a block away, in anticipation of swelling demand from thousands of new office workers, shoppers and residents. Chicago-based Shapack Development has filed plans with the city seeking approval to construct an 11-story hotel building at the corner of Green and Lake streets in the neighborhood west of the Kennedy Expressway.
