Wal-Mart will close a neighborhood market in Presidential Towers in the West Loop, the company announced Tuesday. The Wal-Mart Neighborhood Market location, at 570 W. Monroe St., will close on Jan. 25, said Delia Garcia, senior director of communications at Wal-Mart. Pharmacy customers can continue to pick up their prescriptions until Feb. 3. The decision to close the small grocery store and pharmacy, which opened in 2011, came after "rigorous review and consideration of various factors." The West Loop store was Wal-Mart's first neighborhood market in Chicago. Read More....
