Longtime owners of Fulton Market's Bird Tower Lofts put entire block up for sale for $17.5 million

A group of investors that has owned a full block in the Fulton Market District for more than three decades is ready to sell, hoping to become the latest longtime owner to cash in on the neighborhood's soaring property values. The latest offering is a three-story building at 400 N. May St., also known as Bird Tower Lofts. The 75,000-square-foot loft office building's name comes from the painted birds that adorn a wooden water tank atop the 87-year-old structure.
