In a statement posted to social media today, Chicago’s popular venue The Mid has announced its imminent closure in February 2019. The venue has been home to many if not most of EDM’s touring artists who come through the Windy City, and its closure will more than likely leave a significant hole in the midwest. The Mid says the reason for the closure is due to “recent expansion in the West Loop and Fulton Market District.” Read More....
