Penny Pritzker-backed tech booster heads to Fulton Market

A group backed by Penny Pritzker that's trying to raise Chicago's tech profile is setting up shop in the city's trendiest corporate neighborhood. P33, a nonprofit recently formed to help bolster Chicago's reputation as a hub for tech companies, will move in this month to part of a newly redeveloped building at 1234 W. Fulton Market, marking the venture's first formal office. It's the first lease at a low-slung brick building that Dallas-based Trammell Crow bought in October, raising the developer's bet on the Fulton Market District as meatpackers and food wholesalers there have been replaced by corporate giants and upscale hotels and restaurants.
