Women's apparel company Madewell has leased a prominent space in the Fulton Market District within the same building Google once eyed for its first retail store. The fashion retailer will open a store within a two-story, 14,000-square-foot space in connected brick buildings at the southwest corner of Randolph and Green streets, according to a brochure from the building's broker. The store will take up around 2,500 square feet and be located within the same site that internet giant Google had chosen for an Apple-like retail store. Google was said to be finalizing a lease for the entire building back in April 2018, but the company mysteriously withdrew its plans a year later. Read More....
