Travel To The Old West (Loop) Inside Grange Hall’s New Second Floor Saloon

Grange Hall Burger Bar’s mysterious second-floor bar and restaurant is now open off Randolph Street in the Wild West Loop. Backdoor Saloon is only open three days a week, Thursday through Saturday, offering a late-night menu of snacks and heartier fare including a 36-ounce Tomahawk beef ribeye. Grange Hall hasn’t exactly been sharing tons of info about Backdoor, which gives the space a speakeasy-like aura—they’re even requiring guests to use the alley entrance after 11 p.m. There’s a selection of eight house cocktails, 12 tap lines and they even serve Right Bee Cider (Chicago’s first cidery located in Hermosa Park) on draft.
