Boutique West Loop condo project cleared to dig in at Washington & Peoria

As dozens of new developments flood the pipeline for Chicago’s booming West Loop neighborhood, one such project is ready to make the jump to construction. With a single-story commercial building now out of the way, a ten-story condo development slated for the northwest corner of Washington and Peoria has received a building permit for foundation work. Dubbed 900 West—not to be confused with an unrelated development on Randolph known by the same name—the project at 900 W. Washington comes from developer Taris Real Estate and architecture firm Northworks. Its 22 for-sale residences will feature heated polished floors, high-end bathroom and kitchen fixtures, 10'6" ceilings, and in-unit elevator access via biometric retinal scan. Read More....
