The proposals keep coming for the West Loop, and this time, developer Michigan Avenue Real Estate is looking to plant 52 new apartment on a former industrial site at the northwest corner of Adams and Laflin. The developer recently met with the zoning committee of the Neighbors of West Loop community group to discuss the plan which calls for the demolition of an existing structure and the construction of a new one. The site at 128 S. Laflin is currently a single-story masonry building which houses the Tramco Pump Company. Michigan Avenue RE proposes demolishing the structure to erect a new four-story masonry building which would feature 52 residences.
