Veteran developer buying in Fulton Market

A longtime Chicago real estate developer best known for his work on large downtown office buildings is trying his hand in the thriving Fulton Market District. Mark Goodman, whose has spent three decades developing and investing in Chicago properties, has a contract to buy a 34,330-square-foot parcel at 310 N. Sangamon St., Goodman and a broker for the seller confirmed. Marking his first foray into the trendy subset of the West Loop, Goodman is buying the property that is currently home to an AmeriGas propane fueling and tank exchange station and has been owned by a private family venture since the early 1990s.
