From warehouses to skyscrapers: Fulton Market is an office building hotspot

The latest wave of office construction transforming Chicago’s once-gritty Fulton Market district is likely to move closer to reality Thursday as proposals for four big office buildings are considered for zoning approval. Developer Sterling Bay wants to construct office buildings of 19, 20 and 21 stories on Green Street, just west of Halsted Street and the Kennedy Expressway. Just south of that, another Chicago-based developer active in the neighborhood, Shapack Partners, seeks approval to build a 17-story office tower. Read More....
