Tech co-working space is coming to Fulton Market

Chicago developer McCaffery Interests has landed an anchor tenant for a Fulton Market building it bought almost three years ago, and it follows a common theme for the trendy area: shared office space. San Francisco-based tech incubator and co-working provider the Vault will open its second U.S. location in September after signing a 20,482-square-foot lease in McCaffery's office project at 1115 W. Fulton St., the companies announced. The deal kicks off McCaffery's redevelopment of the 45,000-square-foot former chicken processing plant, which longtime tenant and former owner Aspen Foods will vacate in the weeks ahead, according to McCaffery Senior Managing Director Clayton McCaffery.
