MCZ Development has shifted course again on its plans to build a 236-unit apartment tower in Fulton Market, restoring two floors to the top that it had planned to eliminate in a version last year. MCZ will go before the Chicago Plan Commission on April 19, seeking approval for the 20-story tower at 166 North Aberdeen Street, according to Curbed. The building will rise on the old Fabbri Sausage plant. The development will include ground-floor retail space. The developer unveiled plans for a 20-story project a year ago, then shaved off two floors the next month in a followup proposal, which only eliminated one apartment unit from the complex.
