Shapack Partners bought a 27,000-square-foot property at the western edge of Fulton Market for $8.5 million, representing the West Loop pioneer’s first pickup west of Morgan Street. Shapack bought the space from a venture of Leslie Hindman Auctioneers, which picked up the single-story brick warehouse and surrounding lot at 224 North Ada Street in 2012 for $1.2 million, according to Crain’s.
