Developer Planning 5-Story West Loop Building Hopes Smaller Offices Will Be ‘Pretty Attractive’ Post-Pandemic

A developer unveiled its plans for a five-story retail and office building at the corner of Randolph and Carpenter streets this week. The middle of a pandemic and unprecedented economic pause might seem like a poor time to pitch yet another project for the increasingly crowded West Loop.
