13-Story Apartment Tower Proposed On West End of West Loop

Developers will pitch plans for a new 13-story apartment building in the West Loop Tuesday night, the latest proposal in the red hot neighborhood. Marquette Companies aim to develop 264 apartments at 172 N. Ada St. at the west end of the West Loop. The developer will present plans to the community at 6 p.m. Tuesday at Merit School of Music, 38 S. Peoria St. About 97 ground-floor parking spaces, ground-floor retail space and a swimming pool are planned in the development at Lake and Ada, according to the West Loop Community Organization.
