Jaks Tap, a staple in the West Loop for more than 20 years, is closing its doors this week. Owners of the bar and restaurant at 901 W. Jackson Blvd., a favorite stop for Blackhawks fans, announced on Facebook that they made the "very tough" decision to close after almost 22 years in business. The bar will close for good on Friday. "Thank you for all your support and friendship over the years, as we couldn't have done it without you, and from all of us here at Jaks, we are wishing for your good health and happiness in the years to come," they wrote. Owners ended the note by urging bar regulars to come visit one last time this week. Read More....
